Bar Menu - Relax and Unwind
Whether you're winding down after a round of golf or catching up with friends, the bar menu at Wensum Valley offers a delicious selection of classic favourites and light bites. Enjoy hearty meals, refreshing drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere – perfect for any time of day.
The bar is open from 9:00am until late, serving a wide range of draught and bottled beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Bar meals and snacks are available until 9:15pm daily and can be enjoyed in any area of the bar or out on the patio, with beautiful views over the golf courses.
Hotel Information
Wi-Fi: Our Wi-Fi network is Wensum Guest, and no password is required.
Room Keys: Please keep your key with you at all times, or feel free to leave it with the reception team.
Check-out Time: 10:00am – If you wish to extend your departure time, please contact Reception and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Additional charges may apply.
Restaurant
Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 9:30am and offers a range of options, from the buffet to a full English breakfast cooked fresh to order. If you require breakfast before 7:00am, please let us know.
Dinner: Table d’hôte and specials menus are available from 6:30pm to 9:00pm every evening. We also offer a carvery on Sunday lunchtimes only.

For assistance, call 01603 261012. Reception is staffed from 6:45am to 10:30pm. Night Porters are available from 10:30pm to 6:45am.
Housekeeping
Your room will be serviced daily between 9:00am and 4:00pm by our housekeeping team. If you require clean towels, please leave them in the shower. If you do not wish your room to be cleaned, please place the ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ sign outside your door.
Hairdryer, Iron and Ironing Board
A hairdryer is located in the top drawer of the desk. An iron and ironing board are available on request – please call Reception by dialling ‘0’ on your room phone, and one will be brought to you.

Open from 6:30am to 9:30pm*
Please bring your room key when visiting the Leisure Centre. Towels are provided at Leisure Reception. A £1.00 coin (refundable) is required for the lockers.
We offer a variety of fitness classes, which can be booked with the Leisure team.
Please note, the pool will be closed at the following times due to aqua classes:

Pro Shop & Golf Simulator

Our well-stocked Pro Shop is open from 7:00am to 6:00pm* and offers all the leading golf brands at competitive prices. Golf buggies, trolleys, and equipment are available for hire, and our driving range is popular with all ages. Tokens can be purchased from the Pro Shop or from Reception in the evenings. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to refine your skills, tuition is available with our on-site PGA professional (*times may vary).
Inside the Pro Shop, you’ll also find our state-of-the-art golf simulator, featuring the SkyTrak Plus, available to rent for £25 per hour. It’s an excellent tool for practice and is also used for our bespoke club fitting service, which is free of charge if you're looking to purchase new clubs. Please contact the Pro Shop for more details.
Traditional Sunday Carvery
Every Sunday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Our traditional Sunday carvery is served in the Valley Restaurant – the perfect way to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Enjoy a delicious selection of roast meats with all the trimmings.
Starters and desserts from just £7.25, and main courses from just £15.50.

House Rules
Breakages, Damages & Unacceptable Behaviour
The cost of replacement or repair for any items broken or damaged is the responsibility of the guest. Likewise, any additional cleaning required will be charged to the guest. Further costs may be incurred if rooms cannot be occupied due to damage or breakages.
Please respect other guests in the hotel – we are a family-friendly establishment and kindly ask that noise in bedrooms is kept to a minimum after 11:00pm.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel, including the use of electronic cigarettes. A £200 penalty will apply for smoking indoors. In severe cases, management reserves the right to ask guests to leave the premises, and formal action may be taken involving the local police authority.

Emergency exits are shown on the floor plan located on the back of your room door. Staircases are situated at both ends of each corridor on every floor. Emergency fire alarms are located on each floor. In the event of an emergency, please use the nearest emergency exit.
A History Of Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club
Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club was founded by Basil Todd in 1990. Set within 250 acres of picturesque Norfolk countryside, Wensum Valley is perfectly located just five miles from Norwich city centre and only 40 minutes from the coast. A true Norfolk gem, it offers breathtaking views and sunsets that glisten off the River Wensum.
Today, Basil’s daughter, Bridgette Hall, runs the Country Club, which features: two stunning golf courses, 90 en suite bedrooms, a Pro Shop, driving range, private wedding venue, restaurant, bar, function suites, conference rooms, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna.
